Short story: Donna
Item
The tree of life. It has been known to many cultures and many races ever since ancient times. The symbol of togetherness and inspirations. The mythology may differ, the meanings are similar - that of hope. The Poverty Truth has been an inspiration to me working together with people in power, and the media, giving me hope. The foundations, giving people in poverty a platform to work and voice and share their views and ideas with decision makers, being part of the solution not just seen as a problem. The branches reaching out from people in power and those in poverty working together, enabling better policies to be made.
Nothing about us, without us, is for us, is our logo.
We also have our fruits, we had lots of fruits from our tree, individuals lives were changed, local and government policies but also changed. And for me I gained strength and knowledge.
The pollen from our trees then had fallen across the country allowing other cities to do the same. Throughout the UK there is now Poverty Truths in all our major cities and towns which is only going help us be a better country and that helps us all.
