Short story: Olivia
Item
Hello, my name is Olivia N'Doti, and I am in Zambian national but living and the UK, Scotland for over 19 years now.
I was asked to write something about just something, that I have pictures that kind of like describes our mood or my personality or my sense of belonging to Scotland and some that lifts me up, so what I decided to write was that this year I had a chance to hold the most powerful bird on our planet and that was in Edinburgh.
I love Eagles because they describe the strength and confidence to rise up higher, to fend for themselves. When I feel challenged with my sense of belonging in Scotland I wear clothes that have a positive attitude like lions and leopards print, and eagles as well to feel my inner strength and yep so this is Olivia Dotty saying creating a sense of belonging is important for me in Glasgow because I will feel as I do not belong to them this land that I'm living as a new Scot.
Thank you.
