This project was lots of fun.  Helping the group form their ideas for their own patches, then watching them being fabricated was amazing. Their were interpersonal interactions that were very heart warming to be privy to, and some real understanding, comraderie and compassion for each other developed alongside the quilt itself. As an artist its important to me that everyone in society, in fact globally, gets to tell their own story and have the opportunity to be witnessed without judgement.
