Story one

Hi everyone, being a member of PTC has been an incredible journey for me. PTC has been a huge support system for me in the, my process of integrating into my new home Glasgow. Everybody I’ve met in PTC, both men and women, are incredible people, very nice people.  

You know, they have touched my life significantly in a very positive way, making me feel wanted. Because truth be said that, moving home as an adult, you know the place you went to, where you grew up, everything you know and own is there, and you are in a new place. It is not easy, I must say but this community has helped me to, like, embrace this challenges with hope.  

Impressive challenges knowing that I have people behind me, you know supporting me with their kind words, with their prayers, with their ‘how are you doing today?’. It goes a long way. 

I want to use this medium to encourage our members that your smile, your warm, your gesture, I goes a long way for people like me in this journey of integration. It's not easy at all.  

But every word you say, ever express your share, goes a long way to support and encourage somebody that this is a place to be. 

May I use this opportunity to say thank you to PTC for all the programs, all the sessions, the exercises, and if I knew that sitting down to do some exercises can, you know, be so nice and relaxing. I’ve learnt lot from PTC, I’ve learnt a whole lot to be honest.  

I gained a sister from this PTC, Eileen, during my mentoring session with her. I mean we still talk to today, after this the mentoring session has come and gone. I can call her anytime, I can send messages and she responds. She's like a sister to me today because of PTC.  

I'm grateful for all the good things you’ve taught me about Scotland, and Glasgow to be precise. Thank you PTC, thank you to every member. Thank you Elaine, thanks to Carol, Ian all of you are incredible, Brian. I can’t remember everybody's name but I’m indebted to this community, thank you so much for making this place a home for me. PTC is the place to be, and you can count me as one of your Ambassadors.
